KCR responsible for Telangana suicides, alleges TDP

Telugu Desam Party MP Ramesh Rathod on Friday held Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao responsible for the suicide of students for the statehood cause.

Talking to reporters here, Ramesh Rathod alleged that KCR has been misleading the people of Telagnana by setting deadlines for State formation. He said it was due to his politicis of giving false hopes that several youth committed suicide in the name of Telangana. He alleged that KCR was just trying to strenthen himself in the electoral politics and his statement after TRS meeting in Karimnagar was a clear indication of the same.

Rathod said that neither KCR nor Medak MP Vijayashanti raised the issue of Telangana in the Parliament. However, he said that the party has been targeting the TDP over the statehood issue. He alleged that KCR was trying to build his political empire by exploiting the sentiments of people over the Telangana issue.
