Shankar Rao describes HM as 'lady don'

Handlooms and Textiles Minister P Shankar Rao on Saturday accused Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy of misusing her official position to encroach upon the lands of poor and backward classes.

Talking to media persons at the State Secretariat in the presence of victims of NTR Nagar, Shankar Rao alleged that Karthik Reddy, the son of Home Minister, using the influence of Sabitha Reddy, illegally grabbed lands of poor.

Describing Sabita Indra Reddy as `lady don’, he demanded that the Chief Minister immediately sack Home Minister from her post and order a CBI probe into her ill gotten wealth of Rs 5,000 crores.

Shankar Rao said that he would lodge a complaint with high command over the corrupt ministers in the state. He alleged that Home Minister levelling false cases against all those who have condemned attack on him at the NTR Nagar. He said that he had written a letter to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to book a case under SC/ST Atrocities Act against those who attacked him.
