Namasthe Telangana lands in trouble.A case has stirred up the media landscape as 'Namaste Telangana' finds itself under scrutiny for allegedly publishing false information. The publication purportedly claimed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and former AP CM Chandrababu Naidu convened at Begumpet Airport, prompting TPCC Working President, MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, to take action by lodging a complaint with the Begumpet Police.

The legal proceedings, governed by IPC sections 505(1)(b)(c) and 505(2) in conjunction with 109, have resulted in the registration of a case under crime number 154/2024. Shedding light on the matter, Mahesh Kumar Goud issued a statement over the weekend, vehemently refuting the newspaper's assertions.

Mahesh clarified that the news report insinuating a clandestine meeting between Chandrababu and Revanth at Begumpet Airport on the 7th of the month was entirely fabricated. He provided a detailed timeline, emphasizing that while Revanth Reddy arrived at 3 pm and departed at 3.37 pm, Chandrababu's presence was recorded from 2.45 pm to 3.07 pm. Crucially, Chandrababu didn't enter the lounge, and Revanth Reddy spent a mere 10 minutes inside, rendering any possibility of a meeting implausible.

Despite these clarifications, 'Namaste Telangana' allegedly perpetuated the narrative of a two-hour rendezvous starting at 3.30 pm, alleging that Chandrababu sought Revanth's support for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh assembly elections—a claim Mahesh vehemently denies, asserting that no such conversation or agreement took place.
