Upendra UI Using Cutting Edge Technology

Kannada star Upendra is familiar in Tollywood too. He even acted as a Hero in many Telugu films before getting busy in Kannada. But, before that Upendra is known for his unique directorial skills. After a gap he is back to his director chair with UI. The teaser for this film will be out on September 18.

Upendra has made a mark for himself as a Director in 90's with films like Ssshhh, Om, A and Upendra. After Super (Symbol) co-starring Nayanthara a decade ago, his last directorial was Uppi 2 which was released in 2015. After eight years he is coming again donning director's har with UI where he is also playing the lead role.

The film is being made as a technical marvel with more than 80-90% of shoot has been completed. Upendra is making the film with advanced technology which will set new standards in Kannada Film Industry. The film is the first one in Asia to use 3D body scan technology which can be achieved by filming a shot with 100 cameras.

UI is slated to release towards the end of the year. Team has recently erected huge sets in Bengaluru to can crucial sequences. The film is being made with a huge budget of Rs 100 crs. Produced by KP Sreekanth along with Lahari Films Manoharan. UI also has Reeshma Nanaiah, Sunny Leone, Nidhi Subbaiah, Murali Krishna and Indrajith Lankesh in other key roles.
