Hombale Films Producing A Telugu Film With Screenplay By Prashanth Neel

Prashanth Neel is the most happening and busiest director with back-to-back projects. He is currently wrapping up Salaar with Prabhas which is scheduled to release on September 28. Then he moves to his next with NTR. Meanwhile, interesting news came out that Prashanth is providing help to a Telugu film as a writer. 

Another interesting aspect is the popular Kannada production house, Hombale Films which produced KGF 1 & 2, Kantara, Salaar is bankrolling this project which is to be directed by Srinivas Gavireddy. Neel was impressed by the story narrated by Srinivas and agreed to provide the screenplay for the film. Srinivas has earlier directed Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sithralu and Anubhavinchu Raja with Raj Tarun as a hero.

This latest film is a periodic action thriller with a forest backdrop. Actor Adarsh Balakrishna who is also a cousin of Prashanth Neel is playing the key role in the film. It is being said that a popular heroine will play the lead role while Makarand Deshpande, Banerjee, and Harish Utthaman are playing other roles.

Hombale Films is making its debut in the Malayalam film industry with Dhoomam starring Fahadh Faasil which is releasing on June 23. They are also making a Tamil film Raghu Thatha with Keerthy Suresh in the lead role. Now, after Salaar they are backing this Telugu film with the support of Prashanth Neel.
