Shahrukh Khan's Pathaan is creating boxoffice havoc and creating new records with each passing day. Shehzada which is scheduled to release on February 10th in theatres is now pushed it release by a week. This Karthik Aaryan starrer which is an official remake of Telugu smash hit Allu Arjun - Trivikram's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is now releasing on February 17th. In an official statement released by the makers, the reason was quoted to be a gesture of respect for Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan which is currently smashing box office records.
The makers of Shehzada wrote in their statement, “#Shehzada gets a new release date! Out of respect for #Pathaan this #KartikAaryan #KritiSanon starrer directed by #RohitDhavan produced by #BhushanKumar #AlluAravind #AmanGill and #KartikAaryan the family entertainer will now release on 17th February 2023!"
Though the makers said "Out Of Respect" for SRK's Pathaan, the truth is known to everyone. They need Pathaan to slow down at the boxoffice to get good numbers for Shehzada. It seems that Pathaan is refusing to slow down and it will continue its glorious run in the coming weeks too. Shehzada is produced by Allu Entertainments, Haarika Haassine and T Series.
