Bollywood franchise culture stolen by south

Bollywood is currently reeling under the storm of South films and even top Bollywood stars and directors are unable to fathom how to revive the industry as even North movie lovers are showing interest to watch South dubbed films rather than their own releases.

Under these circumstances, many are of the opinion that Bollywood is forgetting its strength and coming up with substandard films. It is known that Bollywood is known for Sequels and franchises and they set a trend by scoring blockbusters turning Sequels into franchises. Movie lovers cannot forget the blockbusters like Don, Hera Pheri, Dhoom, Golmaal, Dabangg, Ek Tha Tiger, Masti, Murder, Hosefull, Race, Krish,Munna Bhai MBBS, Sarkaar, Tanu Weds Manu, Yamla Pagla Deewana etc.

Now Bollywood makers for some reason stopped concentrating on them. Though few makers announced the latest editions of the franchisees, nothing significant came out. Imagine how it will be, if Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff come up with the new franchisees. While Bollywood forgot its strength, south filmmakers captured its strength and after Baahubali, it is showing stars to Bollywood with the Sequels.

KGF left all stunned and then movie lovers from the north are waiting eagerly for Ponniyin Selvan II, Kantara 2, Pushpa 2, Chandramukhi 2, Indian 2 and Karthikeya 3. Hope Bollywood makers realize its strength before it is too late. Currently only Brahmastra 2, Singham 3 and Tiger 3 are on the anvil from the Bollywood stars.
