Bellamkonda Srinivas scored his first hit with Rakshasudu, remaking Tamil hit Ratchasan. Ramesh Varma directed the film. Sometime back the sequel to the project, Rakshasudu 2 is announced. The sequel will be a pan India thriller and the makers planned to cast a top hero and shoot the film in London.
Rakshasudu completed three years and director Ramesh Varma, spilled beans over the film's sequel. He sprang a surprise by saying that the film is not a sequel and even came up with the poster. To top of it, the film's sequel is not made in Tamil. Rumors have it that the makers are planning to rope in Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. Music for the film is scored by Gibhran and the film is produced by Satyanarayana Koneru of A Studios under the Havish Productions banner.
