All eyes are on Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Pushpa as it happens to be his first after the sensation he created with Ala Vaikunthapuramlo. With Ala Vaikunthapuramlo, Allu Arjun attained nationwide fame and the film is getting remade in Bollywood. Allu Arjun after Ala Vaikunthapuramlo teamed with Sukumar for Pushpa. He surprised all with his remarkable transformation for his role as lorry driver Pushpa Raj, involved in red sandalwood smuggling in the film.
Allu Arjun's first look and his transformation became the talk of the town across the country. It is known that Sukumar planned Pushpa with Mahesh Babu but with Mahesh not keen on transforming his look, teamed with Allu Arjun. As the movie progressed, Allu Arjun grew in confidence and decided to release the film in Hindi also and conquer the Bollywood market turning it into a pan India project. This resulted in numerous problems over the Hindi version as the makers already sold the dubbing rights to a youtube channel. Allu Arjun had to intervene and had to resolve the issue at the last minute to ink a deal with Goldmine to ensure the Hindi version theatrical release.
But Allu Arjun, ever since the makers announced the release date has been racing against time. It clearly showed a lack of planning on the part of the makers and Allu Arjun confessed that they had to stick to the release date as they planned to have a gap of six months between Pushpa 1 and Pushpa 2 and they cannot change Pushpa 1 release date. It is known that Chiranjeevi's Acharya eyed December 17th release and Ram Charan even personally tried to convince Allu Arjun to make way for Acharya. But Allu Arjun stuck to Pushpa's 17th December release and now it became a prestige issue.
He cannot go back and Sukumar falling sick also complicated the matters. This delayed the completion of the project and Sukumar is now racing against time to deliver the final output. The delay in sending the final copy to overseas distributors and also the final copy of the Hindi version to the censor board is due to this result. The makers couldn't start the promotions till the 11th hour and this will definitely impact the film's performance in various languages. Surely, more than anyone else, Allu Arjun is responsible for all these developments as he is adamant about releasing Pushpa on December 17. His attitude like 'Thaggede Le' is impacting his Bollywood dreams in no uncertain terms.
Allu Arjun is singlehandedly promoting the film as Sukumar, Devi Sri Prasad and others are busy completing the final version. If Allu Arjun powers Pushpa singlehandedly as a one-man army and strike gold against all odds, then he will be hailed for his decision or else, he should face the consequences as it impact his dreams to conquer the Bollywood market.
