However, the name of Priyanka Chopra is kept on top for signing ‘Zanjeer’ for a reported Rs.9 Crore took in the form of remuneration. The top four cheque receiving actresses in the line are Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone. Theya re reported of paid something in between Rs.2 to 4 Crores depending upon the project, script and the position of producer.

Of course, Aishwarya Rai who took Rs.5.5 Crores for ‘Robot’ and Kareena Kapoor offered Rs.6 Crores for ‘Heroine’ are rare cases. Now, one more rare case happens to be Piggy Chops for ‘Zanjeer’ with Ramcharan. Trade analysts feel that, Kareena and Priyanka have an added advantage of Superstar value because their movies ‘3 Idiots, Bodyguard & Agneepath’ are in highest grossing all time top five movies. As Ramcharan being a newcomer to Bollywood makers betted upon Priyanka to add more glamor quotient. Although her spokesperson agreed of Priyanka acting besides Cherry for a hefty fee but he did not reveal the figure.
