Nara Lokesh Praises Ranabaali Trailer

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh has praised the trailer of Ranabaali, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna. Released on October 8, the trailer has drawn attention for its intense portrayal of 19th century Rayalaseema and the hardships people endured under British rule.
Lokesh shared his reaction on October 10, describing the trailer as an immersive experience. He appreciated the film’s period detailing and its depiction of famine, oppression and the suffering of ordinary people during a difficult chapter in regional history.
Vijay plays Singanamala Bobbili Ranabaali, a rebellious warrior who stands against colonial exploitation and fights for his people. Rashmika appears as Jayamma, his wife, while Arnold Vosloo plays British antagonist Sir Theodore Hector. The film draws inspiration from lesser known historical accounts, folklore and the devastating Madras Famine of 1876–78.
Vijay Deverakonda replied to Lokesh appreciation tweet with thanks, " Lokesh Anna ❤️ The land of Seema has given me a lot and this film was due from me. Your message fills us all with excitement.
