Dhruv Vikram in trouble over Tollywood project

Dhruv Vikram according to sources, landed in trouble over stalled Tollywood project. With the matter reaching the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SIFCC), it has convened the conliataory meet to resolve the issue.

A source shares "The complaint was filed by Neeladhri Productions Pvt. Ltd., represented by producer Ms. Sireesha, through the Telugu Film Producers Council (TFPC). Acting on the complaint, the SIFCC has referred the matter to its Conciliation Committee, which will hear both parties on August 10, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Chamber's Conference Hall in Chennai."

The official confirmation ran “Dhruv Vikram has been asked to appear before the committee either personally or through an authorised representative. He has also been requested to submit a written explanation and extend full cooperation so that the dispute can be settled amicably before any further action is contemplated.”

The source shared "The dispute reportedly stems from a Telugu-Tamil film that was launched in August 2025 with director Ramesh Varma. The film's opening ceremony was held at Vikram's residence in Chennai, generating considerable buzz. Industry sources claim the producers invested heavily in the project, including constructing an elaborate train set in Mumbai, paying a reported Rs 1 crore advance to Dhruv Vikram and incurring overall production-related expenses estimated at nearly Rs 20 crore."

With Dhruv Vikram suggesting changes, the project didnot take off. A chamber member shared "The agreement signed between the actor and the producers is quite comprehensive. If an amicable settlement is not reached, the matter could eventually take a legal course,"

Telugu Film Producers Council Secretary T. Prasanna Kumar said, "It is true that the Telugu Film Producers Council has forwarded the complaint to the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce. The Conciliation Committee will examine the matter and take an appropriate decision."

Tamil Producer Keeyar revealed "Whether it is a superstar or a newcomer, everyone has to respect the agreements they sign. Producers invest huge amounts based on those commitments. Trade bodies exist to resolve such disputes fairly, and compromise is always the best solution whenever possible,"
