Trisha as Goddess, Vijay as Ravan creates controversy. Even as fans of Tamil Nadu CM Thalapathy Vijay are waiting eagerly to watch his last film Jana Nayagan which is releasing on 23 July 2026, a poster featuring Trisha as Goddess and Vijay as Ravan created a huge controversy.
Cops now registered case and arrested those responsible for the poster. A controversial banner put up during the Aadi festival of Periya Mariamman Temple in Attur, featuring actor Trisha Krishnan in a goddess-like depiction and Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay with an alleged Ravana head backdrop, was removed by authorities. Attur Town Police filed a case against two people, including a shop owner, for displaying the banner without permission.
In the meantime, Jana Nayagan is directed by H.Vinoth and it stars Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Narain in important roles. The film's music is tuned by Anirudh Ravichander and it is bankrolled on KVN Productions banner.
