Tollywood pinning hopes on 2026 second half. The first half of Tollywood did not give the required fillip to the makers and the actors. Now Tollywood is pinning its hopes on the second half with films like Fauzi, Vishwambhara, Aadarsha Kutumbam, King 100, The Paradise, Ranabali, and others. All these have a budget of over Rs 2000crs. The question is can they reach the break-even and break records at the box office.

Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara got postponed on multiple occasions. They spent lavishly on the VFX but even if VFX are good and content turns out to be weak, movie lovers may not accept. The film's budget crossed more than Rs400crs.The film is releasing on 16 October.

Venkatesh-Trivikram's Aadarsha Kutumbam is targeting family viewers. However the film's budget crossed Rs 100crs. The film is releasing on 2 October. It is difficult to get family viewers to the theatres due to OTTs but Trivikram and Venkatesh has lot of craze.

Nagarjuna's KING 100 has huge expectations. However of late Nagarjuna is reeling under flops and if he enters Dasara race, the competition will impact the collections.

Nani-Srikanth Odela's The Paradise has huge expectations following their previous hit Dasara. The budget already crossed Rs 200crs and the film got postponed and is now releasing on 25 Sep. Though the makers are having confident on the quality, the increase in budget, box office collections and postponements is increasing pressure. Vijay Devarakonda of late has many flops and he is now testing his luck with Ranabali on 11 Sep, whose budget is Rs 150crs.

Only if these films become blockbusters, Tollywood will be saved or else the second half will sink like the first half fiasco.
