Deewana (2026) Movie: Artists Review
Harshith Reddy who did soft roles till now, changed his track and did a role with mass shades and did it with immense ease. He impresses with his dialogue delivery, mannerisms, emotions and expressions. Smeha Manimeghalai on debut came up with an emotional and impactful performance. She impressed with her looks and in the prebclimax and climax she elevated the scenes with her performance.
Naresh is good in the role of the father. Jhansi did the mother role in her own style. Vikrant who played the role of the friend performed well. Roller Raghu and Jabardasth Venu performed well though their screen presence is limited. Others performed according to their roles.
Deewana (2026) Movie: Technicians Review
Deewana story is penned by Sreekanth Sangishetty. For 90% of the film, it assumes routine flavors except for one shocking twist and the emotions revolving around it. The entire first half is loaded with hero killing time with his friends and the romantic track after he gets attracted to a beautiful girl. Everything looks routine except for the interval twist. No one can guess the interval twist and the director should be complimented for it.
While the first half had predictable scenes of hero and his gang and also his romantic track and the fights with the rival gang, the second half scenes are full of family emotions and sentiment. The pre climax and climax elevates the film to new heights. overall Sreekanth Sangisetty managed to engage gen z viewers with couple of twists.
The dialogues are good and the Telangana accent appeal to youth. The scenes featuring friends, father-mother sentiment etc are somewhat dragged. Sreekanth Sangisetty's story, screenplay and direction turned out to be decent.
Vamsi Patchipulusu's cinematography added value to the narration and the storyline. Eswar chand's couple of songs are youthful and are shot well and background score is good. However he used Sita Ramam background score for the interval bang and it worked out well. Hrishikesh Pasapal's editing is just ok. There are many scenes that dragged the proceedings with routine elements. Production values are good.
Deewana Movie: Advantages

Deewana Movie: Disadvantages

Deewana (2026) Movie: Rating Analysis
Altogether, Deewana turns out to be a monotonous love story but for the shocking twist. Harshith Reddy and Smeha Manimeghalai performed well in the roles and director Sreekanth Sangisetty seems to have first decided on the twist, before developing the story. A little finetuning of the script would have added more power to the proceedings especially The first half is slow and has some monotony. Considering all these elements Cinejosh goes with a 2.75 rating for Deewana.
