Super Subbu story revolves around a young computer teacher whose life changes upside down when he was asked to teach adult education in a village and how he manages it without hurting anyone. Subrahmanyam aka Subbu(Sundeep Kishan) , a computer teacher works hard to get his job permanent so that he can take his relationship with his lady love Divya (Maanasa Chowdhary). However his life turns upside down and where this leads to and what role his father Kukkuteswar Rao (Murli Sharma), Swathi (Mithila Palkar), Kantha Rao (Getup Seenu), and others played form rest of the narration.

Sundeep Kishan performed well in the lead role that comes with various complexities. He portrayed emotions showing variations like innocence, responsibility and confusion. He highlighted the feelings of a middle class man showing right kind of expressions and emotions.

Mithila Palkar on debut attracts with her glamour and energy. As a social media influencer, her role connects chords with the viewers. She performed well as an independent woman who wish to become an actress much against the wishes of her father.

Murali Sharma did justice to his role with his experience. He is good in the role of a strict father and who thinks about how society thinks about his family in the case of the developments.

Brahmanandam, Getup Seenu, Sampoornesh Babu at times managed to attract with their humour. Kanika Mann got limited role and so did Raghu Babu and Goparaju Ramana. Divya Pillai performed decently. Others performed according to their roles.

Super Subbu story is penned by Mallik Ram and Ramesh Eligeti. Mallik Ram chose a sensitive topic of sex education which many consider a taboo even now and tried to send a message to the society in a hilarious way.

He blended the village backdrop with the comedy, emotional and social message and tried to entertain viewers.

Few scenes revolving around the innocence of the villagers generate few laughs. However there are many scenes that slowed the pace of the narration and tested the patience of the viewers. Some characters are not developed properly and some scenes did not add any value to the story.

Cinematography showed the village atmosphere in a natural and realistic manner. It highlighted the local culture, village life, atmosphere and also highlighted the difference between rural and urban life. The songs and background music added value to the narration.

Altogether, Super Subbu turns out to be a decent take on Adult Education. Sundeep Kishan and others performed well and director Mallik Ram managed to send good message to the society without crossing the thin redline. Had Mallik Ram done away with unnecessary scenes, developed character arcs in a better manner things would have been different. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2 rating for Super Subbu.
