Kangana Ranaut Queen 2 Final Shoot Begins in Naigaon

Kangana Ranaut’s highly anticipated sequel Queen 2 is entering its final production phase, with director Vikas Bahl filming the last schedule in Naigaon. Only six days of shooting remain, featuring emotional family scenes and a vibrant dandiya celebration song. Principal photography will wrap by early July 2026, according to reports.
The sequel serves as a thematic extension of the 2014 blockbuster Queen that transformed Kangana’s career and established her as Bollywood’s leading actress. Sources reveal the team recently shot a festive dandiya sequence showing Rani dancing with other women. Emotional home set scenes are now being filmed. No official release date is announced yet.
While the original film followed Rani’s Paris and Amsterdam journey after heartbreak, Queen 2 sees her discovering independence after moving to a major Indian city. The narrative continues her self discovery arc with new challenges and cultural backdrops. Kangana was last seen in Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata, released June 12, 2026.
Reports suggest Queen 2 will retain the first film’s empowering tone while exploring modern urban struggles. Vikas Bahl promises deeper emotional depth and relatable storytelling for today’s audiences. The sequel promised to blend humor, drama, and music like its predecessor. Release plans will be announced after post production wraps later this year.
