Telangana government has given a green signal for #Peddi ticket hike. The Ram Charan film will release on June 4. One day before, on June 3, a special premiere show is allowed at 8 PM. The ticket price for this show is set at 600 rupees with GST. This order brings huge relief to fans and buyers waiting for the final nod. Bookings have already opened across the Nizam area, and the response is very strong.

From June 4 to June 13, theatres can increase ticket rates for 10 days. Single-screen theatres can add 100 rupees to the normal price. Multiplexes can add 125 rupees. With this hike, the new price is 275 rupees in single screens and 420 rupees in multiplexes. The government also allowed five shows per day in all theatres. This will help the film get more collections in the first week. The movie team asked for a 150 rupee hike in multiplexes, but the state approved 125 rupees.

The GO also says 20 percent of the extra money from the hike must go to the Telugu Film Industry Employees Welfare Association. This rule will help film workers and technicians. #Peddi is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Janhvi Kapoor is the heroine and A R Rahman gave the music. The film is a rural sports drama, and Ram Charan plays a powerful role. The trailer and songs got a good talk. Trade experts say the hike will help the film cross big numbers.

With the GO out and bookings full, #Peddi is ready for a record opening. Andhra Pradesh has already issued GO for similar hikes, and the premier shows permissions. Fans are planning huge celebrations for premieres. The first day shows will decide the long run. For now, all eyes are on the box office. The film carries big hopes for Tollywood after a slow few months.
