Chiranjeevi-Anil Ravipudi project launched traditionally. On the auspicious occasion of Telugu New Year, Ugadi, Mega Star Chiranjeevi's new project Mega 157 is launched in style in a traditional manner. It is known that Chiranjeevi is set to star in the direction of Anil Ravipudi.

The project was launched in style at Ramanaidu Studios with many celebrities attending the ceremony. Victory Venkatesh sounded the clapboard for the Muhurat shot while Allu Aravind turned on the camera. K. Raghavendra Rao, directed the first shot and wished the makers all the best.

Rumours have it that the makers are planning to rope in Aditi Rao Hydari and Parineeti Chopra for the roles of female leads. Bheems Ceciroleo is the music director for the film which will be bankrolled by Sahu Garapati and Chiranjeevi'ss daughter Sushmita Konidela in a prestigious manner.

Anil Ravipudi is planning to complete the project quickly and slate the film for release during Sankranti 2026. Rumours have it that the film would be titled Sankranti Alludu and Chiranjeevi will be playing the role of Vara Prasad. The film is a hilarious entertainer and Anil Ravipudi will showcase Chiranjeevi's comic timing in a vintage manner.
