How DJ Tillu became a reality

Siddhu Jonnlagadda scored a resounding hit with Dj Tillu. The film created a sensation at the box office and even the sequel Tillu Square became a bigger hit. Now the film's third part is also on the anvil.

Tillu role became a brand due to Dj Tillu. However it is coming out that the makers first planned to name the film as 'Narudi Bratuku Natana' and readied the script. But they were not satisfied with the title and during that time they were forced to change the title.

Siddhu Jonnalagadda said he acquired Narudi Bratuku Natana from others who have already registered it for Rs 4 lakhs. But during the script discussion, they felt that the title may not show interest and when they told Trivikram Srinivas about the title, he thought it was the story of a middle class person and so they decided to change the title.

After naming the film based on the hero character as Dj Tillu, it worked out well. Siddhu Jonnalagadda is now getting ready to entertain movie lovers with Jack directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. The film is releasing on 10 April 2025.
