Deepika Padukone on Indian films and Oscar Snubs

Indian films are getting snubbed at the Oscars almost every year and Deepika Padukone shared her pain and grief and also her thoughts on it.

She posted  "India has been robbed of the Oscars many times. Many, many deserving movies I feel like just get snubbed. Whether its movies or talent."

She continued "But I remember being in the audience and when they announced RRR, I got emotional. Outside of being an Indian, I really had nothing to do with that movie, but that was a huge, huge moment. That felt very, very personal."

Deepika Padukone recently starred in Prabhas' sci fi thriller Kalki 2898 AD. She will be seen in the second part also. The film features legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan while Disha Patani is playing an important role. Nag Ashwin directed the film in a lavish manner.
