Salman on romancing young Rashmika in Sikandar. Salman Khan's Sikandar is racing for a grand release on 30 March 2025 as Eid Special.

Many criticised Salman for romancing Rashmika Mandanna, who is 31 years younger to him. Reacting to the trolls and criticism, Salman said “Jab heroine ko problem nahi ho rahi toh aapko kyu ho rahi hai. Inki shadi hogi, bachchi hongi, toh unke sath bhi kaam karenge. Mummy ka permission toh mil he jaega (When the heroine doesn’t have a problem, why do you have a problem? When she gets married and has a daughter, I will work even with her daughter. Mom will give permission).”

Salman even praised Rashmika's dedication saying "She has given her best. She used to finish shooting of Pushpa 2 at 7 pm and would join us at 9 pm, and would work till 6.30 in the morning and go back to work on Pushpa 2. Then after breaking her leg, she continued shooting with us, and didn't cancel a single day of shoot. She reminds me a lot of younger me,"

Sikandar stars  Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Jatin Sarna in key roles and Sajid Nadiadwala bankrolled the film on Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
