Of late, Telangana government is showing that it means business when it comes to various burning issues. For quite sometime, right thinking people are expressing their anger and anguish over the growing obscenity and objectification of women in songs, especially special songs inTelugu films.
The so called hook steps in Ravi Teja's Mr. Bachchan, Balakrishna's Daaku Maharaj, Allu Arjun's Pushpa The Rule and others faced severe outrage.
More recently Nithin's Robinhood also faced severe backlash. In the midst of all this, Telangana Women's Commission has taken a serious note of it and warned the Filmmakers of Tollywood and asked them to take steps to curtail them and not to repeat them in future.
The Commission requested the lyricists, dance choreographers and makers to address the sensitive issue and take steps regarding it. It also said that it will take proper steps to eradicate this menace in the coming days.
