Peddi Zooms Past 330 Crores In Six Days

Ram Charan film Peddi is doing strong business at theatres. The movie was released on June 4 and in just six days it earned more than 332 crore worldwide. The production team shared this update on their official page. On day one the film opened with 135 crore and the first weekend alone added 294 crore. Even on Tuesday it collected around 17 crore. With lower ticket rates in many areas more families are coming to watch it. The movie is holding steady and footfalls remain good across Telugu states, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and overseas markets like USA, Gulf and Australia.

Peddi is a sports action drama set in 1990s rural Andhra Pradesh. It tells the story of a lower caste wrestler who fights for respect and pride of his village. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film has Ram Charan in the lead role. Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead while Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu and Boman Irani appear in key roles. The emotional story and wrestling action scenes have connected with audience.

The movie is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas. Ishan Saksena co produced it under IVY Entertainment. Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings are presenting the film.
