Manchu Vishnu visits Kannappa birthplace. Mohan Babu's son Manchu Vishnu is coming to enthrall all movie lovers with his upcoming film Kannappa. The film is a devotional entertainer and highlights the journey of Kannappa, great devotee of Lord Shiva. The film directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh of Mahabharat fame is slated for a grand release on 25 April 2025.

Manchu Vishnu is promoting the film in a prestigious manner and he visited Kannappa birthplace and paid his tributes. Vishnu visited Kannappa house where he was born in Utkur village, Rajempeta mandal in Annamayya district, Andhra Pradesh. After offering his prayers to the Lord Shiva temple at Utkur, he promised to renovate the temple.

The film stars Mohan Lal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and Kajal in cameos while Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Preity Mukhundhan and Madhoo are playing important roles. Vishnu is playing the lead role of Kannappa.

Sheldon Chau and Stephan Devsay is the cinematographer and music director for the film.
