His bodylanguage is good and emoted well according to the situation. Anikha Surendran is good in her role. She emoted well during the pre climax.
Mathew Thomas in the role of friend entertained viewers with his dialogues and screenpresence. Priya Prakash Varrier did justice to her role. Sarath Kumar, Aadukaalam Naren, Saranya Ponvannan made their presence felt in limited roles. Priyanka Arul Mohan sizzled in the special song which appeals to viewers. Others performed according to their roles.
Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama story is penned by Dhanush who is known for his interesting entertainers. Dhanush starts the narration in an interesting manner with the alliance scenes after the breakup. This generates interest and he slowly narrates the story behind the breakup. All these scenes appeal to youngsters and genex movie lovers but as the movie progress, the interest levels decrease with predictability creeping in.
Emotions takes the centre spot and with the reason behind the breakup narrated in a smooth and decent manner, it sets the tone for the film's second half. The first half narration is slow and steady with screenplay going on smoothly despite the routine and monotonous scenes. Dhanush made up for all this with few youthful elements, hilarious dialogues and also peppy songs.
The second half hits the roadblock as Dhanush loses plot with the story shifting to Goa. Everything turns over the top and the actors go overboard with their performances and with repetitive scenes increasing, it ends up testing the patience of the viewers. The pre climax and climax do not offer much twists and the film ends with the lead to the sequel.
Few more youthful scenes, racy screenplay and doing way with monotonous elements would have helped the film's final output.
Leon Britto with his cinematography turned the film which is a youthful entertainer into a colorful one making it visually appealing on the screen using the camera angles to the maximum. Prasanna GK's editing left a lot to be desired.
There are many repetitive scenes that dragged the pace of the narration. The music of GV.Prakash Kumar is foottapping and peppy. The songs are shot well and choreographed to attract the youngsters. His background music complimented the story.
Dialogues are decent and at times hilarious. Production values are good.
Altogether, Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama is a routine romantic entertainer. Dhanush came up with the romantic entertainer and banked more on highlighting the emotions rather than including interesting twists and turns. The actors tried their best to elevate the scenes with their performances but the predictability played the spoilsport. Considering all these elements, Cinejosh goes with a 2.5 rating for Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama.
