Hospital Shares Mithun Chakraborty Health Update

Veteran hero Mithun Chakraborty has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Kolkata after he underwent severe chest pain on Saturday. He felt uneasy while working for a film and immediately shifted to Hospital. The hospital authorities have provided an update regarding his health.

The health condition of Mithun Chakraborty has improved and he is “quite stable”, an official said on Sunday. "He is recuperating well, is fully conscious, well-oriented, active, and has consumed a soft diet. He will undergo certain investigations before his discharge,” the official of the hospital said.

On Saturday, Mithun was taken to Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals, Kolkata, around 9.40 am with complaints of weakness in the right upper and lower limbs. He has been diagnosed with an Ischemic Cerebrovascular Accident (Stroke) of the brain. He is stable and is being treated. He has already undergone an MRI, along with other medical tests at the hospital. 

Mithun Chakraborty, who was recently honoured with Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian award in the country, has acted in around 350 films in Hindi, Bengali, Odia, Bhojpuri and Tamil.
