Vijay's publicist, Jagadish, shared a video of the actor, while Venkat Prabhu posted pictures of Vijay making the video. Jagadish's caption for the video, "Ennejil kudiyirukum thozhargalae (The comrades residing in my hearts)," signifies the shift from addressing fans as "Ennejil kudiyirukum rasigargalae (The fans residing in my hearts)" to "comrades," aligning with his political aspirations.

Vijay has stated that he will bid adieu to his film career after completing his current commitments and will fully engage in politics. He intends to contest in the next assembly election in Tamil Nadu under his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). It remains uncertain whether GOAT will be his final film, or if a rumored project with director Karthik Subbaraj will conclude his cinematic journey.

GOAT features Vijay in dual roles, alongside Prabhudheva, Prashanth, Laila, Sneha, and Meenakshi Chaudhry in prominent roles. The film's music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, and it is anticipated to release this year.
