Karthi to show his power again as a cop

Karthi to Don Khaki colours again. Karthi, renowned for his gangster action drama 'Japan' is poised for a grand Diwali 2023 release. Meanwhile, the excitement surrounding his 26th film is taking over social media. 

This project is under the direction of Nalan Kumaraswamy, known for his contributions as a writer in films like 'Super Deluxe', 'Theeya Velai Seiyuunam Kumaru' (also known as 'Something Something' in Telugu), and 'Maayavan' (Project Z).

The latest buzz suggests that Karthi will be portraying a police officer's role in this film, adding to his repertoire of cop characters from movies like 'Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru' (known as 'Khakee' in Telugu), 'Sardar' and 'Sirutha'i.

The film has already completed 50% of its shooting, with a new schedule set to kick off soon. Adding to the excitement, the legendary AR Rahman is composing the film's soundtracks. 

Tollywood beauty Krithi Shetty has been cast as the female lead opposite Karthi in this venture, produced by Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green banner. Further details about the film's supporting cast remain eagerly anticipated.
