Huge drop in Skanda collections. Ram, Boyapati Srinu's pan India mass action entertainer Skanda hit the screens yesterday with much fanfare. With Boyapati coming after the sensation of Balakrishna's Akhanda, expectations increased. The film turned out to be routine mass masala entertainer.

Boyapati showed Ram in the most massiest manner and some of the high octane stunts and powerful dialogues uttered by Ram looked unbelievable. However the film got record collections on the first day at the box office and it is infact the highest in Ram's career.

However, second day, it has been a fall from grace for Skanda. While the first day witnessed Rs ₹ 11.50 Cr across the country, the second day witnessed a paltry Rs 6 crs. It has to be seen how the film fares in the coming days.

The film starred cute beauty Sree Leela as the female lead while Thaman tuned the music.
