Vijay Fans In Huge Disappointment As Leo Audio Launch Gets Cancelled

Thalapathy Vijay's upcoming gangster action film LEO is having sky high expectations as in-form director Lokesh Kanagaraj is helming the project. There are many reports that Leo also comes under LCU. As fans are awaiting for Leo's audio launch event where they can meet their favourite star, In a shocking turn of events, the producers of Leo have cancelled the much-awaited audio release event.

Earlier, the event was expected to take place on September 30 at Nehru Stadium. On Tuesday night, Seven Screen Studio, the producers, tweeted the news and cited the "overwhelming request for passes" as the reason for cancellation. There are also rumours that Red Giant, a film production and distribution firm owned by Udhayanidhi Stalin has forced makers to sell the rights of Leo for them and due to this the permission was denied for the audio launch.

The tweet reads, "Considering overflowing passes requests & safety constraints, we have decided not to conduct the Leo Audio Launch. In respect of the fans' wishes, we will keep you engaged with frequent updates. P.S. As many would imagine, this is not due to political pressure or any other reasons,"  Makers cleared the air by mentioning that the cancellation is not due to political pressure.

Vijay fans await for his audio release events as Vijay didn't attend any other events or media interactions.  He hasn't given an interview or participated in a press meet for many years now. The audio release events are the only place where they get to see Vijay addressing his fans, sharing insights into his career and personal life. These events have always played a pivotal role in Vijay's promotional activities, making the cancellation of the Leo audio launch a major disappointment for his fans.
