Varalaxmi Sarathkumar Joins The Ensemble Cast Of Dhanush 50

Dhanush upcoming film D 50, which also marks his second directorial debut, has made an interesting addition to its cast. The film has started shooting in massively erected sets. It already has intersting casting of Sundeep Kishan and SJ Suryah as brothers of Dhanush in the film.

Latest news is Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who is known for her versatile roles in films like Sarkar, Pandem Kodi 2, Krack and Veera Simha Reddy has joined the team of D 50 as a negative character. She will be playing one of the antagonists in the film.

Varalaxmi has already started shooting for D 50, which is set against a Chennai backdrop. The film is expected to be a mass entertainer with a lot of action. Dhanush planned to shoot the film in a single stretch for 90 days in a huge set erected on ECR, where over 500 houses have been constructed. 

The team is planning to release a glimpse video of the film soon to give a sneak peek into the world of ‘D50’. It also stars Nithya Menen, and Kalidas Jayaram and has music by AR Rahman. The film is produced under the banner Sun Pictures.
