Glimpse Of Jayasurya, Anushka Shetty Kathanar Is Out

Anushka Shetty hasn't been doing much films lately. Her film Miss Shetty Mister Polishetty with Naveen Polishetty is getting ready to release this September 7th. Out of nowhere, a glimpse of a Malayalam horror film starring Jayasurya hit the YouTube today. 

Apart from Jayasurya Anushka Shetty is playin another lead role in the film. Makers have kept her name under wraps and they even didn't revealed her in the glimpse. It seems her role is the key to the film and they want to maintain the suspense further more. 

Coming to the film, Kathanar - The Wild Sorcerer, is based on the true tales of Kadamattathu Kathanar, a Kerala priest who was believed to possess supernatural powers. National Award winning film, Home director Rojin Thomas is helming this project.

The glimpse looks top-class with stunning visuals and seems like a terrifying true blue horror film. It will be released in Parts and the first part will be released in 2024. Produced by Sree Gokulam Movies, Kathanar is shot using virtual production technology, which, according to the makers, is the first of its kind in Indian cinema. Major portions of the film have been shot on a massive 45,000 square feet modular shooting floor.
