Takkar Movie Telugu Review: What's Behind

Siddharth who attained stardom with romantic entertainers and gained lover boy image, of late is struggling to restart regain his lost glory. His bilingual entrainer Takkar is seeing the arc lights after a long delay. The film's OTT partner is yet to be finalised. Let us see whether Siddharth hit the success streak with Takkar.

Takkar Movie Telugu: Story Review

Takkar's story is about a young boy who has the urge to mint money getting frustrated with his poor leanings. Guns aka Gunasekhar( Siddharth), who is born poor dreams of becoming rich. However, he couldn't stick to any one job as he gets insulted by all and this results in his increased anger.

Where this leads to and how Lucky ( Divyansha Kaushik), women extortioner Raj ( Abhimanyu Singh) are connected to it form the rest of the story.

Takkar Movie Telugu: Artists Review

Siddharth sported a different look in the film and surprises with a goatee. He looked leaner than usual for his role. He is ok with his performance but he came with usual expressions and emotions. In some scenes he looked pale and jaded and this brought down the intensity levels. Except for few scenes , his role is not elevated in the film.

Divyansha Kaushik played the female role and her character not written in a proper manner. She is confined to songs and dances and oozed with glamour but nothing much about her role. She didn't get much scope to show her acting talent.

There are many other actors in the film and most of them are unknown. Yogi Babu's antics failed to entertain movie lovers. His scenes looked routine and crime cringe. Abhimanyu Singh played the role of the villain but his character turned out to be weak after starting in an interesting manner. Others went unnoticed in the film.

Takkar Movie Telugu: Technicians Review

Takkar's story penned by Karthik G Krish tried to highlight the changes in the life of a youngster who aspires to become rich in no time. Karthik G Krish tried to attract viewers with a romantic thriller.

He drew inspiration from various films but failed to thrill viewers with any of the scenes. He starts the narration in a routine manner with hero trying to end his life and then goes to other proceedings.

Except for few scenes in the first half nothing excites all. The expectations of a better second half however turned out to be a disappointment. The narration, screenplay and direction went for a toss and the director lost the plot completely. Only couple of Dialogues like ' For the first time I am watching happiness without money", " say you will earn money but don't say you will become a rich man ' , makes an impact.

The music of Nivas K Prasanna didn't appeal to the music lovers. None of the songs attact viewers. His background score failed to make an impact. Gowtham's editing could have been far better. There are many drags in the film that affected the film. Cinematography of Vanchinathan Murugesan is ok. The entire technical crew just passed through the motions. Production values are just ok.

Altogether, Takkar turned out to be a disaster with outdated routine elements. Karthik G Krish tried to show Siddharth with a new stylish look but Takkar which is supposed to give a sleek romantic ride with thrilling elements, failed completely in its attempt as it derails off the road. Considering all these aspects, Cinejosh goes with a 2 Rating for Takkar.
