Shock: RRR's Postponement?

As the number of Omicron contagion's cases spiked suddenly, strict restrictions are being implemented by a few states across India. Theatres are permitted for screening with just 50% occupancy in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu while there has been a closure of theatres in Delhi. 

As of now, India's prestigious multi-starrer Rrr is heading for a grand worldwide release on January 7. However, owing to the restrictions imposed by various governments on film theatres, team Rrr is dilly dallying to postpone the film. 

What will happen? Will Rrr get its release deferred or would stick to the same release date? An official clarity from the makers is awaited. 

Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger NTR played the roles of Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komuram Bheem respectively. The film has Bollywood beauty Alia Bhatt and Irish beauty Olivia Morris in female lead role while Bollywood star Ajay Devgn will be seen in a crucial role. This Keeravani's musical has been directed by Rajamouli under DVV Entertainments.
