Mahesh Babu brands star cricketer as a legend

Australia won its first T-20 World Cup defeating New Zealand in a convincing and clinical manner. Australia which was unable to crack the T-20 code though the format was introduced in 2007 and though they won the ODI world cup and Test championship, finally emerged successful. David Warner played a key role scoring 53 (38) in Australia's victory.

Super Star Mahesh Babu congratulated the Australian team and compared David Warner as a Legend. He posted “The Aussie grit was on full display in Dubai… Congrats team Australia!! T20 champions of 2021. @davidwarner31 what can I say! Mate… you’re a legend,” Warner also thanked Mahesh Babu and posted his message on Instagram.

Warner was stripped of the captaincy and then sacked as the player by the Sun Risers Hyderabad (SRH) team in IPL for his poor form. Warner shut the mouths of all with his breathtaking performances in T-20 Worldcup, especially in the final against Newzealand and he also scored 49 (33) against Pakistan in the semi-final.

Fans of SRH are furious with the management's treatment of Warner. Warner endeared himself to all the Telugu fans and Hyderabadis by dancing to the hit songs and delivering dialogues from popular Telugu films.
