Dil Raju has reportedly acquired the theatrical distribution rights for Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming film Vrushakarma across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka. Naga Vamsi was earlier said to be in talks for the deal, but the latest confirmation point to a change.

Vrushakarma is being made on a large scale and is expected to be an important film in Naga Chaitanya’s career. Directed by Karthik Varma Dandu, who earlier made the supernatural thriller Virupaksha, the film is produced by BVSN Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra in association with Sukumar Writings. Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead.

Vrushakarma is scheduled to release in theatres on December 4. The film is described as a mythological thriller, with its scale and subject raising expectations among Telugu moviegoers. Following Thandel, Naga Chaitanya is looking to reach a wider audience with this project. The film’s theatrical performance will be closely watched by trade circles.

Meanwhile, Dil Raju is also handling the release of Vishwak Sen’s CULT in Vizag, along with Rashmika Mandanna’s Mysaa in the Nizam and Vizag regions. He is also releasing Mythological Epic Ramayana in Telugu States. These releases add to his distribution activity across key Telugu markets. With Vrushakarma joining his reported slate, attention will be on how the films are planned and promoted ahead of their theatrical runs.
