Telangana: Strict Lockdown upto May 7

"Nationwide lockdown might be ended on May 3 but our cabinet has resolved to extend the lockdown till May 7 without any relaxations as suggested by the union government," asserted the Talangana CM KCR,who held a press meet after the cabinet meet. Following are the excerpts of his speech.

* Lockdown will be continued upto May 7. Night curfews will also continued while union government's relaxations won't be implemented in Telangana. 

* I appeal the air travellers should not make their visits to Telangana till May 7.

* Swiggy and Zomato food distributions won't be allowed.

* The house owners are ordered not to collect house rents from tenant. It's not a request but a government's order.

* 50% Pay cuts will be continued to employees whereas on only 25% pay will be deducted from family pensioners.

* Doctors and sanitary staff will get 10% bonus in the month of April as well.

* Private instituitions should not increase tuition fees for 2020-2021 academic year. Only moth-wise tuition fees should be levied by the educational institutions in lieu of year-wise tuition fees.
