Ram Charan Charges 15 Cr For Acharya

Every production house maintains proper accounts to calculate total spending on a film and returns through pre and post release business. Moreover, IT issue is another reason for them to have accounting on every penny regarding the film. Even for films under own production houses, stars take their usual remuneration, which is a must.

Star producer Allu Aravind too recently clarified that, Bunny was given highest remuneration for Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. Though they do not mention the umbers publicly, the same is declared in accounts.

There have been reports that, mega power star Ram Charan is charging nothing to play a guest role in his dad megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya. But, there’s no truth in it. Though he is one of the producers, he is said to be offered Rs 15 Cr remuneration for 30 days of call sheets.

As we reported earlier, Mahesh Babu who earlier was approached for the guest role demanded 30 Cr, wherein producers offered him 15 Cr. Thus, he walked out of the film. Then Ram Charan came on board to play the role for the same pay.

In fact, Ram Charan is not the sole producer for Acharya. He is bankrolling the project in association with Niranjan Reddy. So, Charan is getting his usual pay for the film for which he starts shooting once he is freed by SS Rajamouli with whom he is doing RRR co-starring young tiger NTR.
