Mega Star Chiranjeevi's Acharya directed by Koratala Siva is hogging the media limelight with the fast paced developments. Chennai Thendral Trisha Krishnan walked out of the project citing creative differences while Superstar Mahesh Babu decided not to do the special role in the film owing to intense pressure from fans.

In the midst of all this, it is coming out that, Acharya is undergoing drastic changes. It is known that when Koratala created a powerful special role in Acharya, Chiranjeevi suggested Ram Charan's role. Both Koratala and Ram Charan liked the proposal but Charan's RRR multi starrer with NTR under Rajamouli's direction became a stumbling block.

At that time, the trio considered the name of Mahesh Babu for the cameo and even made changes. At first Koratala decided to show Ram Charan as a naxal but he changed the script and decided to show Mahesh as a student leader and also included a love track. They even considered Pooja Hegde to be Mahesh's lady love.

But then they felt that budget will shoot up with Mahesh in the cameo since they have to pay one crore a day and it amounts to Rs 30crs for Mahesh's 30 days call sheets.

With Mahesh too deciding to opt out of project due to fans pressure, the makers decided to cast Ram Charan in the special role. Acharya will now release only next year.

Now Chiranjeevi felt that since there is no need to hurry, he suggested Koratala to increase Charan's role in the film. As such Koratala not only increased Ram Charan's role duration but also included two fights and two songs. There is one song on Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi.

Sources say Trisha did not like these changes and also share screen presence along with a young heroine and so opted out of the project.
