Taapsee who showed her acting prowess in films like Baby, PINK, Soorma, Mulk, Naam Shabana, Badla, Game Over, Mission Mangal, and Saand Ki Aankh is showing her power with Thappad.

The powerful female-oriented film Thappad directed by Anubhav Sinha hit the screens this week and is getting good positive reviews. Taapsee played the role of Amrita who files divorce cases after her husband slaps her. Taapsee is now finding herself in the same situation that Deepika Padukone earlier found herself during Chapaak release. Deepika went to JN University and supported Anti CAA protests.
