Disha Scenes In Sankranthi Special

People across the country cannot forget the gruesome rape and murder of veterinary doctor Disha in Telangana and the cops’ sensational encounter of the rapists.

Telangana cops daring encounter won the appreciation of the people across the country. Now inside talk is Rajinikanth's upcoming entertainer Darbar directed by Murugadoss, who has some scenes similar to Disha's encounter. It is known that Rajinikanth will be seen as a cop Aditya Arunachalam.

Interim, Murugadoss revealed, "There are two types of police. One who will beat us for politicians and others who will work for the people. Recently entire nation praised Hyderabad cops action. They encountered Disha rapists at the same spot where they committed the crime. During that time people hailed cops as heroes. We shot similar scenes in Darbar long before this crime and encounter. Rajinikanth sir later called and told me, 'The encounter happened similar to your script’."

On scenes shot in rain he said, “When we were shooting in Mumbai, it was raining heavily. While we were considering other options, Santosh Sivan said we can continue shooting in real rain. But I was against it and at the same time thinking about losses to the producers due to shoot cancellation. During that time Rajinikanth got ready to shoot in real rain. I thought that it would affect his health, washing away of makeup, hairstyle, etc but Rajini did not care about all these things. He went into the sets getting drenched in rain and others too followed him".

As is known, Darbar will be hitting the screens in Tamil and Telugu on 9th of this month.
