Top stars like Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun are competing with each other during Sankranti unleashing their upcoming entertainers Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, probably on the same day.
Even as they are promoting their films in a never seen before manner, inside talk is the top stars and the makers may get Sankranti shock in Andhra Pradesh. It is known that protests are intensifying in Andhra Pradesh over the three capitals decision taken by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Farmers are continuing their protests and even opposition parties are supporting them. Except for Mega Star Chiranjeevi and the ruling YSRCP, all are opposing Jagan Mohan Reddy's decision on three capitals in the state.
Congress party threatened that they would shut down the theatres for the three days during Sankranti in Andhra Pradesh, if Tollywood does not react and air their views on the three capitals issue. It also asked fans of the stars to pressurize them to come with their views. It warned that if the stars do not come clear on three capitals in Andhra Pradesh by Jan 10, there will be dire consequences.
If Congress goes ahead with its warning and shuts down theatres, Super Star Rajinikanth will get affected first as his film Darbar is slated for a grand release on Jan 9th.
