Natural Star Nani's Gang Leader hit the marquee this weekend. Though the mouth talk has been decent, reviews and ratings are pretty ordinary. Almost all web media awarded 2.5 rating for the film.
However, those common audience who watched the film opined the movie could easily have got 3 rating given its blend of thrilling, suspense and hilarious content. While the first half tickled the funny bones of audience, it was a face off between Nani and powerful villain Karthikeya in the second half. On a whole, the movie was made as a wholesome family entertainer.
Proving the verdict of audience right, Gang Leader recorded strong day 2. The film's collections on day two are almost on par with the day one.
Gang Leader was directed by Vikram Kumar under Mythri Movies. Senior actresses Lakshmi and Saranya played crucial roles while debut actress Priyanka Arulmohan played heroine.
