Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya's Sailaja Reddy Alludu appeared to be a promising film among next week's releases until the pre release event of the film. Strangely, director Maruthi, himself, axed the expectations on the film some extent with his words during the pre release event.
Maruthi said Sailaja Reddy Alludu was not something like a conventional film of 1980s and 90s in which Aththa and Alludu's challenges are included.
But then, Maruthi should understand the fact that Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Athaku Yamudu Ammayikio Mogudu' turned as an industry hit and King Nagarjuna's 'Allari Alludu' became a blockbuster with the same concept.
Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Atharintiki Daredi was an exception where the protagonist wants to get the affection of his Atha. But then, Pawan Kalyan's image matched the movie's concept and which made the film was an industry hit.
If at all really there are no challenges between Atha and Alludu in SRA, it could be said a different concept and a bit experimental. Obviously, the film has probabilities of both the success and failure. In such case, luck plays a vital role. Will luck favour Chaitu and rest of the team? Let's wait and watch.
