Heroes Greater Than Heroines, Ask Anushka

Sweety Anushka is though a heroine but known for her powerful performance oriented roles in films like Arundhati, Panchakshari, Vedam, Baahubali, Rudramadevi etc. She is getting ready to show her power as Bhaagamathie which is releasing on Jan 26. 

Anushka faced a question of pay disparity between heroes and heroines when speaking to scribes. Anushka who is regarded as the lady super star and image on par with star heroes however says there is nothing wrong with heroes getting more than heroines. 

'Remuneration in any profession depends on the job responsibilities. Heroes are getting more remuneration as they are taking huge risks and even suffer huge losses. They carry many films on their shoulders and so they deserve the high remuneration they are getting. Instead of fighting for equal pay, heroines should strive for more powerful roles and stories so that they can prove their mettle and power,' said Anushka.
