When Mega Star Chiranjeevi appeared with a clean shave removing even his moustache, rumours spread whether his upcoming entertainer Sye Raa got shelved or kept on hold.
This is because Chiranjeevi grew a long beard for his role as freedom fighter. But later the film unit revealed that Chiru had a clean shave for graphics and VFX in the film.
Rumours are also spreading that Chiru roped in Gunasekhar to supervise the Sye Raa shooting. This came as a surprise as Surender Reddy is already directing the film.
However sources close to the unit rubbished the news saying no one from Chiru's team contacted Gunasekhar. They informed that Guna is currently busy with his mythological film Hiranyakasipa and has no time to think about another project.
What needs to be known is, did Chiranjeevi and Surender Reddy really have creative differences. Surender Reddy do not want Chiranjeevi stressed out as it takes three hours for his makeup. He suggested Chiru to use body double for some scenes which Chiranjeevi rejected outright. Chiranjeevi felt that body double will not get his style and body language right. Chiru finally agreed to use body double to enact high voltage stunts.
