Ever since the demise of late CM Jayalalitha speculations had been rife that Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth would step into the shoes of politics and would join BJP for next general elections.
Meanwhile, renowned musician Ilayaraja's brother Gangai Amaran is contesting as an MLA candidate on behalf of the BJP from Jayalalitha' constituency, RK Nagar. He recently met Rajinikanth to seek the blessings of the Superstar.
Post the meeting Gangai Amaran has been promoting himself, that he had the blessings of Rajinikanth. As people misunderstood that the matinee idol was supporting the BJP, negative message on Rajini were spread in social media.
To avoid the confusion, Rajini posted a tweet which reads as, "My support is for no one in the coming elections." Rajinikanth will soon wrap up the shoot of 2.0. He will be working for 'Kabali's sequel soon.
