Tollywood game for Bollywood newbees

For long, Tollywood filmmakers have been roping in Bollywood beauties opposite top stars to give a new feel to the movie lovers.
According to the latest, the trend is set to continue with upcoming newbees from Bollywood are also getting crazy offers. Rasha Thadani and Shanaya Kapoor are entering Tollywood with Srinivasa Mangapuram and Zombie Reddy 2.
A senior producer says "Preity Zinta made an impression with Kalisundam Raa, Katrina Kaif appeared in Malliswari, Ameesha Patel starred in Badri, and Shilpa Shetty featured in Sahasa Veerudu Sagara Kanya two decades ago. Telugu cinema gave them visibility at an important stage of their careers before they became major Bollywood stars,'
Producer Vishnu Vardhan Induri says "Today's Telugu films are no longer made only for the southern market. They are released across the country, so casting a familiar Bollywood actress naturally widens the film's appeal,"
He continues "A recognised Hindi face helps create curiosity among North Indian audiences and strengthens the film's marketing. In the same way Telugu audiences get excited when they see familiar stars in Malayalam or Hindi films, Hindi viewers are more likely to connect with Telugu films featuring actors they already know."
Producer Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili says "Buchi Babu wanted a heroine who could bring freshness to the film while matching Ram Charan's screen presence. Janhvi had the right combination of performance, glamour, and youthful appeal. We believe their chemistry will be one of the film's biggest attractions."
