Only Tamannaah has guts to do diverse roles

Milky Beauty Tamannaah is getting ready to thrill movie lovers with her upcoming film Odela 2 which is releasing on 17 April 2025. The film is the sequel to the hit film Odela Railway Station and the sequel is releasing on pan India level.

The film stars Hebah Patel, Murali Sharma, KGF fame Vashishta Simha  in key roles. In the midst of all this, many are showering praises saying only Tamannaah has the guts to do diverse roles.

Hemanth Madhukar shares “Very few actresses have the guts to explore such contrasting genres and still leave a mark, and particularly a female aghori needs loads of confidence, and she pulled it off, going by positive response for her looks and trailer,”

Hemanth added “She’s a striking blend of talent, glamour, and dance prowess. After years of being cast in routine glam-doll roles, she’s now consciously choosing more varied and impactful characters,”

He continued “Anushka had Arundhati and Bahubali, while Nayanthara played Shah Rukh Khan’s love interest in Jawan and also portrayed a goddess in Mookuthi Amman,” he notes. “Earlier, actresses like Vijayashanti and the late Soundarya also broke the mold with powerful performances in films like Kartavyam and Ammoru, alongside their commercial outings.”

He shared “It takes courage and confidence to break away from being typecast as the lover or the wife. Some complain about ‘four scenes and four songs’, yet hesitate to dive into meatier, genre-defying roles,” he observes. “But those who’ve dared to challenge the norm are the ones thriving and standing out.”
